I Did a Boudoir Shoot with Bad Kitty Photography in Los Angeles — Here's Why You Have to Do It Too

I didn’t come to Los Angeles looking for a photoshoot.
I came for the beaches, the palm trees, the "maybe I’ll spot a celebrity at Starbucks" vibe—like everybody else.

But somewhere between the late brunches in Venice and golden hour hikes at Runyon, a friend said, "If you really want to do something unforgettable while you're here, book a boudoir shoot with Bad Kitty Photography."
At first, I laughed.
Me? Half-naked? In front of a camera? In the land of supermodels?? Yeah, sure.

But LA has this way of making you believe a little bigger. Dream a little louder.
So I said yes.
And honestly? It ended up being the best thing I did the whole trip.

Walking into the shoot, I was a wreck.
Not just a little nervous—I mean full-on "am I about to pass out?" levels of panic.
I’m not a model. I don’t do sexy on command. I was two seconds from turning around and Ubering back to my Airbnb.

But then I met Cinnamon Gray, the co-owner and Master Photographer behind Bad Kitty Photography—and suddenly, everything shifted.
She’s part coach, part best friend, part "you’re a badass, now own it" energy rolled into one.
She didn’t just pose me—she empowered me.
She showed me a version of myself that I forgot existed.

I wasn’t there to be perfect.
I was there to be powerful.
And that’s exactly what she captured.

The whole shoot was electric.
Not stiff. Not awkward. (Okay, maybe the first few frames were a little awkward—but that didn’t last long, trust me.)
It was fun. It was fierce. It was freeing.
It was everything magical about LA rolled into one unforgettable experience.

When I got my gallery back, I didn’t just see pretty pictures.
I saw me—on my boldest, brightest, most unfiltered day.

Honestly? I’ll take that over a Hollywood tour bus any day of the week.

If you're heading to Los Angeles, listen to me:
Book the shoot.
Say yes before you start listing all the reasons why you shouldn’t.
Because you deserve this version of yourself—and trust me, she’s unforgettable.

Sure, you could leave LA with a sunburn and a "Seen on TMZ" hoodie.
OR... you could leave looking like a damn goddess.
Your call.

This is the memory you’ll still be raving about ten years from now.

Just don’t sleep on it—Bad Kitty books up faster than a brunch table in West Hollywood.

Trust me. You’re going to want this.

And here’s the best part:
IT’S AFFORDABLE.

No "sell your car to finance it" situation here.
The session itself? Just $175.
Hair and makeup? $40 each (and in LA, where a blowout alone costs $75+? That's basically charity work).
Photo packages start at $250 and top out at $775, with the full, everything-included, superstar-level experience only $1,175.

(If you know LA prices, you know that's a straight-up miracle.)

I spent $600 total—shoot, hair, makeup, and images—and honestly?
I would’ve paid double without a second thought.

Actually?
I should’ve paid double. That’s how good it was.
