I didn’t come to Salt Lake City looking for a photoshoot.
I came for the mountains, the fresh air, the city-meets-nature vibe—like everybody else.
But somewhere between the hikes up Big Cottonwood Canyon and the lazy afternoons wandering downtown, a friend said, "If you really want to do something unforgettable while you’re here, book a boudoir shoot with Bad Kitty Photography."
At first, I laughed.
Me? In lingerie? In front of a camera? In UTAH?? Yeah, okay, sure.
But the idea wouldn’t leave me alone.
Salt Lake City has this way of making you feel grounded and wild all at once—like anything is possible if you’re brave enough to try.
So I said yes.
And honestly? It turned out to be the best thing I did the entire trip.
Walking into the shoot, I was a mess of nerves.
Not the cute kind—the full-on overthinking, sweaty palms, "what the hell am I doing" kind.
I’m not a model. I don't smolder on command. I was this close to chickening out.
But then I met Madison Gray, the co-owner and Master Photographer behind Bad Kitty Photography—and everything changed.
She’s part best friend, part coach, and part "cut the excuses, you’re gorgeous" hype queen.
She didn’t just pose me—she helped me find a side of myself I hadn’t seen in years.
I wasn’t there to be perfect.
I was there to be powerful.
And that’s exactly what she brought out of me.
The whole shoot felt like a revelation.
It wasn’t stiff. It wasn’t awkward. (Okay, maybe for like, the first five minutes, haha.)
It was fun. It was fierce. It was freeing.
It was everything I didn’t even know I needed from Salt Lake City, wrapped into one unforgettable experience.
When I got my gallery back, I just stared at the images.
Not because I looked airbrushed and flawless.
Because I looked like me—on my boldest, most radiant day.
Honestly? I’ll take that over another souvenir hoodie any day.
If you’re coming to Salt Lake City, trust me on this:
Book the shoot.
Say yes before you start listing all the reasons why you’re “not ready.”
Because you are ready. You deserve to feel this confident, this alive, and this damn proud of yourself.
Sure, you could leave Salt Lake with a postcard and some trail dust.
OR... you could leave looking like a damn goddess.
Your move.
This is the memory you’ll still be bragging about ten years from now.
Just don’t wait—Bad Kitty books up fast, and missing out would be a heartbreak worthy of a country song.
Trust me. You’re going to want this.
And here’s the cherry on top:
IT’S AFFORDABLE.
No crazy luxury price tag. No five-year payment plan needed.
The session itself? Only $175.
Hair and makeup? Just $40 each (seriously, glam this good for $40 in a city? Practically a miracle).
Photo packages start at $250 and top out at $775, with the full, everything-included, superstar-level experience only $1,175.
(And if you’ve ever shopped around, you know that’s insanely good.)
I spent $600 total—shoot, hair, makeup, and images—and I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.
Honestly?
I would’ve paid double after seeing those photos.
