Why Bad Kitty Photography Is Moving Back to All-Inclusive Boudoir Sessions

Boudoir photography has changed a lot over the years.

So have client expectations.

For a long time, the industry leaned heavily into à la carte pricing. Clients would book the session, then choose what they wanted afterward: digitals, albums, edits, products, upgrades, add-ons, and everything in between.

And honestly? There was a reason for that.

À la carte pricing gives people options. It allows clients to start small, customize their final order, and decide later what matters most to them. For some studios, that model works beautifully.

Bad Kitty Photography used that model, too.

But over time, we realized something important:

Most clients do not want their boudoir experience to feel like a math problem.

They do not want to fall in love with their images and then feel overwhelmed trying to figure out what is included, what costs extra, what they can afford, what they have to leave behind, or whether they should have just chosen something different from the beginning.

Boudoir is already a deeply personal experience. For many clients, it takes courage just to book the session. It takes trust to show up. It takes vulnerability to step in front of the camera.

The pricing should not be the most stressful part.

That is why Bad Kitty Photography is moving back to an all-inclusive session structure.

Why All-Inclusive Feels Better for the Client

An all-inclusive boudoir session creates clarity from the beginning.

Clients know what they are booking. They know what they are receiving. They know what is included before they ever step in front of the camera.

No guessing.

No post-session sticker shock.

No falling in love with images only to feel like they have to choose between memories they want to keep.

With our new all-inclusive structure, the goal is simple: create a more complete experience that includes the pieces clients care about most.

The session.
The photographer.
The venue.
The guidance.
The images.
The editing.
The full digital collection.

That matters because boudoir is not just about one perfect image. It is about the whole experience. The nervous beginning. The moment confidence kicks in. The soft images. The bold images. The playful ones. The emotional ones. The “oh my God, that is me?” ones.

We want clients to have the full story.

Why We Are Changing

This change is not about taking options away.

It is about simplifying the experience.

We have listened to what clients ask, what they worry about, and what they value most. The answer has become very clear: clients want transparency, value, and a beautiful final collection without feeling nickel-and-dimed along the way.

That does not mean every single extra service disappears. There will always be specialty options, upgrades, or unique requests that can be added when needed.

But the foundation of the experience is changing.

Instead of building a session piece by piece, clients can book knowing the most important parts are already included.

That is better for the client.

And honestly, it is better for us, too.

It allows us to focus on what we do best: creating bold, beautiful, fully guided boudoir sessions without making the process feel complicated.

Keeping Boudoir Affordable Without Making It Cheap

One of the biggest misconceptions about all-inclusive pricing is that it automatically means “more expensive.”

That does not have to be true.

At Bad Kitty Photography, the goal is not to create an all-inclusive experience that feels out of reach. The goal is to create a better, clearer package while still keeping our pricing affordable compared to many luxury boudoir experiences.

We are not trying to make boudoir feel impossible.

We are trying to make it feel worth it.

That means looking at the entire structure honestly: what clients need, what the experience costs to produce, what travel requires, what venues cost, and how to keep the final price as fair as possible.

Which brings us to travel.

Why Airfare Will Be Billed at Direct Cost When Needed

As a traveling boudoir studio, one of the biggest variables is airfare.

Some cities are surprisingly affordable to fly into. Others are much more expensive depending on the airport, route, season, timing, and availability.

Instead of hiding airfare inside one inflated travel price for everyone, we are moving toward a more transparent structure: lower all-inclusive session pricing where possible, with airfare billed separately at direct cost when required.

This is actually better for many clients.

Why?

Because not every city costs the same to reach.

A client in one city should not have to subsidize the higher travel cost of another city. And a client in an easier, more affordable location should not automatically be charged as though they are booking in one of the most expensive markets to reach.

Direct-cost airfare allows the pricing to reflect the actual expense instead of a padded estimate.

In some cases, flights may be much lower than clients expect. In other cases, especially with regional airports or last-minute bookings, airfare may be higher. But either way, the client sees the real number.

That kind of transparency matters.

A Better Structure for Real Life

The truth is, boudoir clients are real people with real budgets.

They are booking for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, divorces, healing, confidence, curiosity, celebration, or simply because they are finally ready to do something for themselves.

They deserve to understand what they are paying for.

They deserve to know what is included.

They deserve to walk into the experience excited instead of anxious about what happens after the shoot.

That is the heart of this change.

Bad Kitty Photography is moving back to all-inclusive sessions because it better reflects the experience we want clients to have: clear, guided, empowering, beautiful, and complete.

What This Means for Clients

Moving forward, clients can expect a more streamlined booking experience with session options that include more from the beginning.

Instead of starting with a bare session and building everything afterward, clients will be able to choose a session that already includes the core pieces of the Bad Kitty experience.

That means less confusion.
More value.
More transparency.
And a final collection clients can actually enjoy without feeling like they had to leave half of it behind.

Because when someone books a boudoir session, they are not just booking pictures.

They are booking confidence.

They are booking an experience.

They are booking the chance to see themselves differently.

And that experience should feel amazing from the first click to the final gallery.
