I didn’t come to San Diego looking for a photoshoot.
I came for the beaches, the tacos, the sunsets, the laid-back magic—like everybody else.
But somewhere between the fish tacos in La Jolla and the golden hour strolls through Balboa Park, a friend said, "If you really want to do something unforgettable while you’re here, book a boudoir shoot with Bad Kitty Photography."
At first, I laughed. Hard.
Me? In front of a camera? In lingerie?? Yeah, okay.
But the idea stuck.
San Diego has this way of pulling you into the moment—making you want to live a little bigger, love yourself a little harder.
So I said yes.
And honestly? It ended up being the best thing I did the entire trip.
Walking into the shoot, I was nervous.
Like, sweaty palms, heart racing, full-on second-guessing-everything nervous.
I’m not a model. I don't "simmer" on command. I was ready to fake a sprained ankle and bail.
But then I met my photographer Stacey!, the Master Photographer behind Bad Kitty Photography—and suddenly, I got it.
She’s got this energy that’s part bestie, part coach, part "you’re a badass and you’re gonna remember it today."
She didn’t just pose me—she taught me how to feel myself in a way I never have before.
I wasn’t there to be perfect.
I was there to be powerful.
And that’s exactly what she captured.
The whole shoot felt like a dream.
It wasn’t stiff or awkward. (Okay maybe the first five minutes were... but after that? Pure magic.)
It was fun. It was wild. It was freeing.
It was everything good about San Diego bottled into one badass experience.
When I got my gallery back, I just stared at the photos.
Not because I looked like a Pinterest model.
Because I looked like me—at my most fearless, most gorgeous, most alive.
Honestly? I’ll take that over a surf lesson or souvenir hoodie any day of the week.
If you’re heading to San Diego, hear me out:
Book the shoot.
Say yes before your brain talks you out of it.
Because you deserve to feel this strong, this sexy, this damn proud of yourself.
Sure, you could leave San Diego with a sunburn and a burrito stain on your shirt.
OR… you could leave looking like a damn goddess.
Your call.
This?
This is the memory you'll still be smiling about ten years from now.
Just don’t wait too long—Bad Kitty books up fast, and missing it would be a tragedy worthy of a sunset memorial on Pacific Beach.
Trust me. You’re going to want this.
And here’s the kicker:
IT’S AFFORDABLE.
I'm not talking about some “celebrity experience” that costs more than your flight.
The session itself? Just $175.
Hair and makeup? $40 each (seriously—try finding glam that cheap anywhere near the coast).
Photo packages start at $250 and top out at $775, with the full, everything-included, superstar-level experience only $1,175.
(Spoiler: that's basically a steal compared to what other studios charge.)
Trust me, I crunched the numbers.
I spent $600 total—shoot, hair, makeup, package—and I would do it again tomorrow without a second thought.
Honestly?
I would’ve paid double once I saw those photos.
